Hiring practices should be equitable and non-discriminatory; Municipalities should lead anti-racism efforts; Policies that address credential recognition should be implemented. Greater collaboration between immigrant serving sector and business community as well as more collaboration between sector, government, professional organizations and private sector.
Key findings
The goal of this study is to identify gaps and capacities of the current services working on LMI in Calgary in order to inform the development of strategies to collaboratively resolve issues challenging immigrants’ labour market integration
